<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type electric water heater of high safety and high usability capable of reducing an impact on a user even if hot water in a hot water storage tank runs out. <P>SOLUTION: This electric water heater comprises the hot water storage tank 1, a temperature sensor 5 disposed at an upper portion of the hot water storage tank for detecting a temperature of the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank, a water supply pipe 6 for supplying the water to a lower portion of the hot water storage tank, a temperature sensor 10 disposed at the water supply pipe 6 for detecting a temperature of the supplied water, a hot water supply pipe 7 for guiding the hot water pushed out of the upper portion of the hot water storage tank 1 by the pressure of the water supplied through the water supply pipe 6, a bypass pipe 8 bypassing the hot water storage tank 1, a mixing valve 2 for preparing the mixed hot water of a desired temperature by mixing the hot water guided from the hot water supply pipe 7 and the water guided by the bypass pipe 8, a flow rate sensor 3 detecting a flow rate of the mixed hot water, and an electric valve 4 capable of stopping the whole flow of the mixed hot water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
