<p>The suspension has a front axle (3), a rear axle (5), an adjustable vibration damper (7vl) with adjustable damping force, and a non-adjustable vibration damper (7vr), where the dampers are arranged at the axles. The dampers are separated from one another by a vehicle longitudinal axle, where sum of occurring damping forces of the dampers is adjustable. A sensor system (13) has an acceleration sensor (15) for detecting vehicle condition parameters e.g. speed, a steering angle of a vehicle and a movement of a vehicle body (16). Signals from the sensor system are supplied to a computer unit (17). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a chassis suspension of a motor vehicle.</p> |
