PURPOSE: A stem for an artificial hip joint and an artificial hip joint having the same are provided to improve the support and distribution of the load and utilize an acetabular cup firmly fixed to the pelvis in the initial stage and stably binding to a bone afterward. CONSTITUTION: A stem(400) for an artificial hip joint comprises a body(410) and a neck(430). The body is extended to form a first line(L1). The neck comprises a bending part, an upper part, and a lower part. The upper part is formed by extending one end of the bending part, which forms a second line(L2) crossing the first line. The lower part is formed by extending the other end of the bending part, which combines to the body and forms a third line(L3) corresponding to the first line.
