PURPOSE: A method for processing materials using a centerless polisher is provided to attach an attachment to a hole or a slot using a magnetic substance and to process the attachment, thereby preventing the generation of an artificial eccentricity to the processing material during a polishing or grinding process. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing materials using a centerless polisher is as follows: a ring shape of or cylindrical rod shape of a processing material is formed between a grindstone wheel and a regulating whetstone wheel which are facing each other; the processing material, which has an eccentricity caused by a slot formed in the outer periphery, is positioned (S10); a secondary processing material is installed in the processing material (S20); a jig is inserted and installed in the hollow of the processing material (S21); an attachment is attached and installed in the slot of the processing material (S23); a magnetic material is installed between the outer periphery of the jig which is exposed to the outside through the slot of the processing material and the attachment (S25); and the grindstone wheel and the regulating whetstone wheel are rotated and the processing material in which the secondary processing material is integrally formed is ground and polished (S30).
