PURPOSE: A method for providing e-book content with an advertisement is provided to properly extract a keyword form text of e-book content and to obtain advertisements corresponding to the extracted keyword from an advertisement server. CONSTITUTION: A keyword is extracted from text included in e-book content at a first step and transmitted to an advertising server (S201). The existence of an advertisement matched with the keyword in the advertising server is confirmed at a second step (S203). If the matched advertisement exists, advertisement data is received from the advertising server at a third step (S204). The received advertisement data is inserted into the e-book content at a fourth step.
