IN-LINE TREATING APPARATUS OF BALLAST WATER INSTALLED CIRCULATING PIPING FOR BIOFILM PREVENTION

PURPOSE: An in-line treating apparatus of ballast water is provided to prevent and remove biofilm by repressing growth and multiplication of microorganisms in a pre-treatment unit and a pipeline with oxidizer contained in mixed water which is made of exiting water from an electrolyzer unit and entering water from the upstream of the pre-treatment unit and is provided to the pre-treatment unit. CONSTITUTION: An in-line treating apparatus comprises a pre-treatment unit (100) and an electrolyzer unit (200). An outflow pipeline of the electrolyzer splits into a transferring pipeline and a circulating pipeline (300). The transferring pipeline transfers exiting water to a ballast water storage tank (500) and the circulating pipeline transfers exiting water to an inflow pipeline of the pre-treatment unit. The circulating pipeline is arranged from the outflow pipeline of the electrolyzer unit to the inflow pipeline of the pre-treatment unit. The inflow hole of the circulating pipeline is inserted into the outflow pipeline of the electrolyzer unit in the opposite direction of the exiting water from the electrolyzer unit. The outflow hole of the circulating pipeline is inserted into the inflow pipeline in the direction of the entering water from the pre-treatment unit. A circulating pump (60) is installed to control a flow rate.
