PURPOSE: A power assistance system of a hybrid bicycle is provided to enable comfortable driving by controlling motor output in order to regulate the intensity of auxiliary power in consideration of pedal efforts and the inclination of road surface. CONSTITUTION: A power assistance system of a hybrid bicycle comprises a motor(800), a motor driving unit(700), an inclination detection unit(410), and a main controller(100). The motor applies auxiliary power to the drive wheel of an electric assisted hybrid bicycle. The motor driving unit controls the output of the motor. The inclination detection unit is installed in the electric assisted hybrid bicycle and creates inclination signals at a specific time interval. The main controller calculates the output of the motor from the inclination signals and controls the output of the motor through the motor driving unit according to the calculated motor output. |
