PURPOSE: A device for absorbing shock of a butt plate in a firearm is provided to reduce the weight of a rifle by allowing the device to separate from the rifle. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for absorbing shock of a butt plate in a firearm comprises a cover unit(10) made of a rubber material. One end of the cover unit is blocked and the other end is opened. A plurality of pointed protrusions(11) is formed on inner wall surface of the cover unit in a longitudinal direction of the cover unit in a specific interval. A plurality of cylindrical sheet units(12) is formed on the bottom of the cover unit by separating to the width direction of the cover unit in a specific interval. One end of a compressed coil spring(13) with pitch corresponding to pitch of a spiral shelf unit(12a) is circumscribed in the cylindrical sheet unit. The other end of the compressed coil spring has the length in which a rubber plate(2) contacts when mounting the cover unit on the butt plate(1). |
