Disclosed is a multilayer wood-polymer material obtained by hot pressing wood particles with crushed secondary polyethylene consisting of two outer facing layers, two intermediate layers and one inner layer, wherein the inner layers are made of wood-polymer composition. The intermediate layers are formed from crushed waste recycled polyethylene, in which the proportion of wood particles is 60 %, and recycled polyethylene – 40 %. To finish the material surface as outer cover layers the sheets of peeled or surfaced veneer or synthetic veneer are used. The claimed method of manufacturing a multilayer wood-polymer material includes preparation of sheets of peeled or surfaced veneer or synthetic veneer, grinding and drying of wood particles, mixing them with shredded secondary polyethylene, forming a wood-polymer carpet or a briquette, hot pressing thereof and cooling the obtained wood-polymer material. The inner layer of carpet or briquette is prepared by mixing the wood particles with shredded secondary polyethylene at a ratio of 60:40 (%). The intermediate layers of carpet or briquette are obtained from shredded waste recycled polyethylene. To form the outer cover layers of carpet or briquette the sheets of peeled or surfaced veneer or synthetic veneer are used and the formed carpet is forwarded to the operation of hot pressing by a flat method with simultaneous coating and subsequent cooling the resulting material. |
