METHOD FOR FASHIONING COLON ANASTOMOSIS

A method for fashioning colon anastomosis provides for the surgical connection of the cut regions of colon. The anastomosis between the afferent and efferent loops is formed at the acute angle in side-to-end mode as terminal-lateral colic anastomosis. First, the stump of the afferent loop is shaped. The efferent loop is cut at the angle of 45 degrees from the mesenteric edge of the colon. Then anastomosis is generated along tenia libera of the afferent loop with the separate interrupted sutures starting at 2- from the edge of the stump of the afferent loop. The first row is generated with Mateschuk sutures involving all the layers of afferent and efferent loops. The second row is generated with separate interrupted sero-serous Lambert sutures.
