PURPOSE: A recliner for vehicles is provided to maintain a stable unlocking state by separating an internal gear of an upper gear in a state maintaining a constant gap with an external gear of a lock gear using a gap maintaining unit. CONSTITUTION: A recliner for vehicles comprises an upper gear (10), a holder (20), a cam (30), a lock gear (50), and a gap maintaining unit (60). A rotary shaft which is connected to a lever is inserted into the upper gear having an internal gear (12) in an inner circumferential surface. The holder is connected to the upper gear and includes a plurality of guide blocks to have a plurality of moving spaces in an inner surface. The cam is arranged between the holder and the upper gear, forms a pressurizing protrusion on outer circumference, rotates with a rotary shaft, and receives an elastic restoring force by an elastic member. The lock gear arranged in the moving space and includes an external gear (52) engaging with the internal gear on an outer circumferential surface and a contact surface (54) where the pressurizing protrusion is supported in the inner circumferential surface. The gap maintaining unit separates the external gear from the internal gear in a constant gap by delivering a rotary force of the cam to the lock gear when unlocking to the rotary shaft. |
