PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to improve safety by splitting the connection of a lead of a double structure when a temperature of the secondary battery rises by abnormality. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery (100) comprises an electrode assembly (10), a case (60) for accommodating the electrode assembly, a first lead (20) which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly and a second lead (20) which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly. At least one among the first lead and the second lead comprises: a first metal plate; a second metal plate which is separately located from the first metal plate and positioned so that at least a portion of the second metal plate faces the first metal plate; a foaming agent interposed between the first metal plate and the second metal plate; and a soldering bridge which is formed in order to connect the first metal plate and the second metal plate.
