PURPOSE: A complex type charging system for a power converting apparatus of an electric vehicle (xEV) is provided to reduce component cost, by integrating expensive components into a circuit. CONSTITUTION: An external input rectifier part rectifies an external alternate current (AC) input and then outputs the rectified external AC input through an output terminal. A high speed switching part switches a direct current (DC) voltage in a high speed. A transformer part (300) outputs a high frequency AC voltage through a low voltage output terminal. A high voltage smoothing part (400) smooths an AC outputted from the high voltage output terminal into a DC. A low voltage smoothing part (500) smooths an AC outputted from the low voltage output terminal into a DC.
