PURPOSE: A square cutting apparatus for an ingot is provided to automatically, precisely, and quickly implement a square cutting process for separating the ingot into multiple cells. CONSTITUTION: A square cutting apparatus for an ingot includes a base (101), a rack (102), a transferring rail, a feeding cart (200), an ingot holder, a vertical frame (104), a cart (300) for moving up and down, and a moving cart supporting member. The base is a basic frame for the apparatus. The rack and pinion moves the feeding cart. The transferring rail guides the movement of the feeding cart. The feeding cart rotates clockwise or counterclockwise. The vertical frame has a guide for moving up and down. The cart for moving up and down has multiple rotating pulleys on which cutting wires are wound. The moving cart supporting member rotates a moving cart clockwise or counterclockwise. |
