PURPOSE: An electronic device controlled by motion recognition based on an infrared ray transmitting device is provided to reduce influences of indoor illumination to hand motion position shift recognition. CONSTITUTION: An infrared ray signal generating unit(101) transmits an infrared ray signal to show an operation of a user. A switch turns the infrared ray signal generating unit on/off. A user authenticating unit(202) recognizes user information for authenticating the user. The infrared ray signal generating unit operates according to the recognition result. A motion managing unit(203) transmits a control command for an electronic device(200) corresponding to an operation of the user.
