PURPOSE: A camera group control system is provided to easily control multiple cameras with one alarm identification (ID) to a desire area by a monitor at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A camera control command converter (200) included in a camera group control system comprises an alarm setting unit (210), an event receiver (220), an alarm generator (230), and an alarm analyzer (240). The alarm setting unit sets up a corresponding alarm ID in an event value generated in a monitoring device (100) and gives each camera ID or preset ID to a set alarm ID. The event receiver receives the event value from the monitoring device through a local area network (LAN). The alarm generator generates a visible warning or an audible warning and transmits the corresponding alarm to the alarm analyzer when receiving the event value through the event receiver or forcibly operating an alarm ID button. The alarm analyzer selects a camera or a preset which is given the alarm ID or a preset by analyzing the alarm ID received from the alarm generator. The alarm analyzer produces a control command message which includes an ID of the selected camera or preset.
