PURPOSE: A touch screen integrated display device and a manufacturing method thereof solve peeling issues which can take place between a second protection layer and a connection wire by additionally placing the very material which constitutes a pixel electrode between the second protection layer and the metal connection wire. CONSTITUTION: A first protection layer (234) is formed on a thin film transistor and a second protection (240) on the first protection layer. Formed on the second protection layer, a pixel electrode (251) is connected to a drain electrode via a first contact hole which exposes the drain electrode. A first connection wire (252) is placed at a certain position corresponding to a source pixel electrode on the second protection layer and is made of the very material constituting the pixel electrode. A second connection wire (261) is formed on the first connection wire. A third protection layer (270) is formed above the second connection wire, the pixel electrode, and the second protection layer.
