摘要 The invention relates to scintillation technique. A scintillation material is based on zinc sulfide and contains activating impurity selected from one of components forming solid solution of substitution with starting compound. At that, it contains at least one chalcogenide compound of ABgroup as activating impurity at concentration of 0.1-10.0 mol. % of each, and additionally it contains co-activating donor impurity of oxide or chalcogenide of one of metals at concentration of 1.1·10-1·10mol. %, which also forms solid solution of substitution with starting compound. The invention provides the producing of scintillation material with high light output, low level background and quick kinetics of fluorescence and also with improvement of fluoride silicon coordination.
