PURPOSE: A method for processing a micro tool electrode using abrasion rate is provided to improve processing efficiency by preventing a tapered shape from remaining on a block electrode after processing the micro tool electrode. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing a micro tool electrode using abrasion rate comprises the following steps: a step of measuring interrelation between abrasion rate of a block electrode and abrasion rate of the micro tool electrode generated when discharging a gap between the block electrode(1) and the micro tool electrode(2); a step of calculating entire abrasion rate where the block electrode is worn until completing a process to form the micro tool electrode; a step of setting transfer distance in which the block electrode is reciprocated based on the thickness and entire abrasion rate of the block electrode; and a step of processing a shape of the micro tool electrode by generating the discharge the gap between the block electrode and the micro tool electrode and reciprocating the block electrode to predetermined transfer distance. |
