PURPOSE: A device and a method for displaying a blind spot are provided to supply safe driving environment and parking environment for a driver by checking the blind spot which is difficult to obtain the sight of the driver. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for displaying a blind spot comprises an image detecting unit, a control unit, and a displaying unit. The control unit outputs one or more images which the image detecting unit films in the predetermined time or before the predetermined time as the image for display. The control unit displays a vehicle icon displaying the current position of a vehicle to a contour line or a translucent line in the image for display and outputs the vehicle icon and the image to display the blind spot which is hidden by a vehicle body.
