An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to reduce the defect of the LCD device by reducing disconnection caused by an external stress on a COF(Chip On Film) by adding an additional dummy pattern, which is electrically connected, to the COF except a wiring pattern. An LCD device includes an LCD panel(510), a PCB, a COF or a TCP(Tape Carrier Package). A driving circuit is mounted on the PCB to drive the LCD panel. One end of the COR or the TCP is attached to the LCD panel, and the other end is attached to the PCB. The COF or the TCP includes a flexible insulating film(511), a wiring pattern(501), and a dummy pattern(502). The wiring pattern is formed on the flexible insulating film and consists of plural lines. The dummy pattern is formed on the flexible insulating film in the outside of the wiring pattern. |
