FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry and is intended for determination of optimal position of lower jaw with respect to upper jaw and skull in prosthetics of patients with total or partial absence of teeth, with reduction of height of lower part of face. Occlusion rollers with bases on upper and lower jaws of different sizes by height and length depending on defect size in dentitions are made. Occlusion rollers with bases are pre-fitted in oral cavity and placed on lower jaw in condition of comparative physiological rest. On-skin electrodes are fixed in epicenters of muscle contractions simultaneously in masticatory and temporal muscles. Bioelectric impulses are registered simultaneously from temporal and masticatory muscles in different positions of lower jaw with respect to upper jaw in three planes - vertical, horizontal and sagittal positions. Optimal variant of lower jaw position with respect to upper jaw is selected after comparison of obtained parameters on electromyograms with known parameters of norm.EFFECT: method makes it possible to find optimal position of lower jaw due to registration of bioelectric impulses simultaneously from temporal and masticatory muscles in different positions of lower jaw with respect to upper jaw in three planes and carrying out comparative characteristic of obtained results.1 dwg, 1 ex |
