A paging performance device for a receiving service in a wireless communication system and a method are provided to perform a paging process without using a network address for a terminal which returns the network address when switching to an idle mode, thereby offering a receiving service to the terminal which is not allocated with the network address. When a terminal(301) transfers to an idle mode, paging information of the terminal(301) which returns a network address is stored(321-333). If call reception occurs in the terminal(301), the paging information of the terminal(301) is confirmed by using an MAC(Medium Access Control) address of the terminal(301) to transmit a control signal so that the terminal(301) performs a paging process(335). If the terminal(301) enters a network, a call reception signal is transmitted to the terminal(301)(337). |
