RECHARGEABLE BATTERY ASSEMBLY AND PACK HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A secondary battery assembly has an insulating structure between cells and equally assigns currents to each cell, so that it is possible to present high-current discharging characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery assembly (100) has multiple battery cells (10) individually having an anode terminal (11) and a cathode terminal (12), a cathode tab (31) bonded to the anode terminal of each battery cell and a cathode tab (32) coupled to the cathode terminal of each battery cell. All anode tabs and cathode tabs have contact holes (311,321) disposed in the spots requiring equidistance from the anode terminals and the cathode terminals of the battery cells. The anode terminals and the cathode terminals of the battery cells are connected to the anode tabs or the cathode tabs by welding.
