PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting damage to a belt conveyor is provided to rapidly perform maintenance work by automatically detecting damage to a roller member. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting damage to a belt conveyor comprises a wire detecting part(20), a variable support part(30), and a sensor part. The wire detecting part is installed under roller members, and the position varies by the drooping of the roller members. The variable support part supports both sides of the wire detecting part, and supports the wire detecting part at variable positions depending on the movement of the wire detecting part. The sensor part detects the movement of the variable support part, and measures damage to the roller members. |
