A mobile terminal and a data interworking method are provided to allow a user to use his mobile phone or an Internet function when he wants it while viewing a broadcast through the mobile phone. A DMB module(201) demultiplexes a transport packet stream of a broadcast signal and separates it into an OD(Object Descriptor) stream, a BIFS(Binary Format for Scene) stream, a video stream and an audio stream. A BIFS decoder(203) decodes the separated BIFS stream and analyzes scene description information and an interactive node. A controller(211) renders each node constituting a scene of the video and audio streams, and performs an interworking function according to a selection of the interactive node by a user. A mobile communication module(213) transmits a call of the interactive node. A screen display unit(217) displays contents constituting the scene and the scene description information. A memory(207) stores the information of the interactive node. |
