The present invention further improves braking/driving performance and the like in both an ice and snow road surface and a dry road surface while suppressing the occurrence of loss of a sipe edge in a pneumatic tire in which a sipe is provided in a land portion. A pneumatic tire has a plurality of land portions in a tread, and a sipe is provided in the land portion. In the cross section in the width direction of the sipe, the sipe has, in the depth direction of the sipe from the tread surface (S) of the land portion, a perpendicular section and a bend section that bends to one side and the other side, and the bend section has, in order in the depth direction, a first sub bend point (Q1) at a depth of D/7-D/2 inclusive, a main bend point (P) at a depth of D/4-3D/4 inclusive, and a second sub bend point (Q2) at a depth of D/2-6D/7 inclusive, and forms a first inclined section and a second inclined section. An angle (theta1) is set to 30°<=theta1<=60°, and an angle (theta2) is set to 30°<=theta2<=60°, or the ratios (a1/A and a2/A) between the areas of the first inclined section and the second inclined section and the projected area (A) of an orthographic projection from the width direction of the sipe are both set to 0.1 or more. |
