PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyacrylamide gel capable of providing high resolution in protein separation and having higher stability to hydrolysis as compared with a conventional polyacrylamide gel depending on Tris or Tris-Bis as a buffer agent.SOLUTION: A polyacrylamide gel is produced by including triethanolamine instead of almost or all of Tris or Tris-Bis.
