PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular sieve small enough to be used in a downsized device, while it should be also suitable for uniform dispersion of an organic compound (in particular, non-polar organic compound).SOLUTION: A hydrophobically coated molecular sieve includes particles having a particle size of 1,000 nm or less, wherein a surface of the particle is coated with silane of general formula: SiRRRR. A production method and use method thereof are also disclosed. In addition, the use of such coated molecular sieve, a composition including such molecular sieve and uses in production of equipment (e.g. electronic components and electronic devices) are provided. |
