PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit retransmission packets efficiently depending on the propagation path state, in a mobile communication system performing packet transmission.SOLUTION: In the retransmission method in a wireless communication system including a transmitter and a receiver, retransmission data is transmitted to the receiver by performing first processing where the transmitter transmits the transmission data to the receiver, and when receiving a notice of reception failure of the transmission data from the receiver, the transmitter generates split data for the transmission data smaller than a given size if the transmission data is larger than the given size, and second processing for modulating each split data on the basis of a modulation system determined on the basis of the propagation path state in transmission processing time of each split data. |
