PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining rolling procedures, by which rolling can be completed most quickly as a whole without generating the shortage of cooling water and the delay in draining.SOLUTION: An optimization problem is formulated (step S4) by a prescribed objective function and prescribed constraint conditions including one that a water consumption does not exceed a water feeding capacity and a draining capacity of a plate rolling equipment. A mixed integer planning problem is solved (step S5) by applying the formulated optimization problem to the mixed integer planning problem and an extraction order of base materials from a heating furnace and an execution order of rolling in a rolling apparatus are obtained so that rolling completion time may be the minimum. |
