PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent forces transmitting from a driven body to vibrators from increasing even if large acceleration is applied in a direction that travels from the driven body to the vibrators.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor includes: vibrators 109 generating ultrasonic vibrations; a driven body 101 driven by the vibrators; holding means 104 holding the vibrators; pressurizing means 107 pressurizing the vibrators against the driven body; and a housing 105 holding the driven body so that the driven body moves in a driving direction and holding the holding means so that the holding means moves in a direction of pressurization conducted by the pressurizing means. In the ultrasonic motor, a housing includes a regulation member 106 regulating a moving amount of the driven body in the direction of the pressurizing means. |
