PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow a gap between a doorsill and a protective plate arranged below the doorsill at a hoistway side, in those where a groove of the doorsill for guiding opening and closing of an elevator door opens downward, thereby preventing a toe from being caught in the gap.SOLUTION: A guide member 24 whose guiding piece 25 is engaged with a groove 13 of a doorsill 22 is attached to a door 2. A guard 20 whose position can be adjusted in a vertical direction is provided an upper part of a protective plate 11, and the position of the guard 20 is adjusted so that a size of a gap S1 between an upper end 20a of the guard 20 and a lower end 22a of the doorsill 22 at the hoistway side becomes optimal. By this means, the gap S1 can be smaller, which can prevent a toe from being caught in the gap S1. |
