PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layer two switch device capable of suppressing an unstable state of a network caused by retransmission and disorder in an image at the time of changing transmission routes with a redundancy protocol.SOLUTION: A forwarding database (FDB) 103 registers correspondences between a layer two address and a physical port. A storm filter 105 restricts a band of a flooding frame. A route control protocol controlling part 107 controls a transmission route of a frame when redundant connection is performed to the portion between a plurality of layer two switch devices 100. When a content of the FDB 103 is deleted, in order to change the transmission routes by the route control protocol controlling part 107, a storm filter controlling part 108 controls to alleviate a band restriction of the storm filter 105 for a prescribed period from the time of deletion. |
