PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane gas decomposition apparatus capable of decomposing methane gas efficiently and continuously by preventing carbon deposition on an electrode part without including steam in raw material gas.SOLUTION: A reaction tube 3 provided on a circulation path 2 includes, in a pair of discharge electrodes 30a, 30b, a plurality of second supply ports 35a, 35a, etc., for supplying a part of supplied gas as it is in the unreacted state so that carbon generated between the pair of discharge electrodes 30a, 30b is crushed, and a plurality of exhaust ports 35b, 35b, etc., for exhausting so that adhesion of crushed carbon into the reaction tube 3 is suppressed. |
