The device (1) has a movable pressure plate (4) limited in an axial direction (A) of the device and rotatable with respect to a clutch cover (2) and/or a flywheel for frictional wedging of a clutch disk between the pressure plate and a counter-pressure plate. An electromagnetic actuator for displacement of the pressure plate in the axial direction is arranged between the clutch cover and the pressure plate or a gear box side of the flywheel and the pressure plate. The device is actuated through the electromagnetic actuator. A biasing unit (9) comprises a plate spring (10). The electromagnetic actuator is designed as a push-pull actuator.
