<p>A display device (10) comprising: a display panel (11) having a light source (17), a light guide plate (16) having a light incidence surface (16c) and a light emission surface (16a), and a display surface (11a) that displays an image using light emitted from the light emission surface (16a); a drive substrate (113) that display-drives the display panel (11) and has a mounting surface (113a) whereon the light source (17) is mounted; a flexible wiring substrate (111) having flexibility and electrically connecting the display panel (11) and the drive substrate (113); a chassis (14) having a protruding end section (141) that protrudes to the outside further than the light incidence surface (16c), said chassis being arranged so as to face a plate surface (16b) that is on the opposite side to the light emission surface (16a); and a light source position regulating member (18) configured so as to be separable from the chassis (14), and whereby the light source (17) is adhered to the drive substrate (113) so as to face, and to maintain a prescribed distance relative to, the light incidence surface (16c).</p> |
