PURPOSE: An electric motor and a compressor comprising the same are provided to reduce the amount of a permanent magnet used, by constituting a slit in which the width of both ends decreases rather than the center. CONSTITUTION: A rotor is arranged in a stator to be able to rotate. The rotor comprises a rotor core (181) and a permanent magnet (230). The rotor core forms a plurality of slits (220). The permanent magnet is arranged in the slit. The width of both ends of the slit is formed to be narrower than the width of the center. |
