PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight engine working machine startable by driving a cell motor by a small battery.SOLUTION: An engine working machine 1 is driven by an engine 10, and includes a cell motor 106 driven by electric power supplied from a battery 80 and starting the engine, a start control means (102) driven by the electric power from the battery 80 and controlling rotation of the cell motor 106, and a switching element (FET 121) arranged in series to an electric power supply circuit to the cell motor 106 from the battery 80 and controlling its opening-closing by the start control means. When starting the cell motor 106, PWM control of the switching element is performed and soft start in which a duty ratio is gradually increased, is performed. The start control means (102) monitors temperature and battery voltage, and changes a ratio and time for increasing the duty ratio of the PWM control in response to the temperature and the voltage. |
