PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of effectively controlling the generation of BOG in an LNG tank.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of controlling the boil-off gas in the liquefied gas storage facility, where a storage tank 11 is provided for storing the liquefied gas received from an external part under a prescribed storage pressure. When the liquefied gas is received into the storage tank 11, the pressure in the storage tank 11 is temporarily increased to a receiving pressure 45 to 65% higher than the storage pressure or to a receiving pressure 5.0 to 7.0 kPa higher than the storage pressure.
