PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge method and a droplet discharge apparatus, which perform a discharge weight measuring step for precisely measuring a discharge weight and suppress an increase in the time required for image drawing by droplet discharge by suppressing an increase in time during which an image drawing discharge step of discharging a liquid toward an image drawing target pauses by performing the discharge weight measuring step.SOLUTION: A droplet discharge method comprises an image drawing discharge step of placing a liquid on a substrate by discharging the liquid from a droplet discharge head and also relatively moving the droplet discharge head and the substrate which is a target in which the liquid lands, a material supply-removal step of supplying and removing material of the substrate to a droplet discharge device provided with the droplet discharge head, and a weight-measuring discharge step of performing the weight measurement discharge to measure the weight of the liquid discharged from the droplet discharge head, wherein the weight measuring discharge step is performed in parallel while the material supply-removal step is performed. |
