An LED lamp (1) comprises: a lamp base (102) having live and neutral contacts (105,103) for supplying electrical power to the LED lamp (1); a substantially hollow lamp holder (106); a PCB assembly (112) comprising: first and second connection pins (114,115); a table portion attached to the top of each of the first and second connection pins (114,115); and at least one connecting structure (118) formed at the top surface of the table portion and electrically coupled to the first and second connection pins (114,115); an LED PCB (230) comprising at least one LED (232) affixed to a PCB (230) and an LED PCB connector having connector pins (228) electrically coupled to the at least one LED (232) and to the at least one connecting structure (118) of the table portion; and a heat sink (224) being configured to thermally couple to the at least one LED (232), and a globe (234) having a bottom portion which is thermally coupled to an outer surface of the heat sink (224).
