<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a navigation technology capable of improving usefulness to the user when a selected interchange on a guide route is canceled. To achieve this objective, this navigation device is provided with: a route-guide unit capable of presenting a guide route passing through an interchange on a highway selected by the user; and a reroute unit for rerouting the guide route when the selection of the interchange is canceled due to detection of a predetermined condition including at least one of a first condition, a second condition, and a third condition. The first condition is two or more predetermined reroutings on an ordinary road; the second condition is the entry of the moving vehicle onto a highway from an interchange different from the selected entry interchange; and the third condition is the entry of the moving vehicle onto an ordinary road from an interchange earlier in the direction of travel than the selected exit interchange.</p> |
