摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for fuel injection of a hybrid vehicle are provided to lower the temperature of a catalyst by completely removing residual fuel without injecting additional fuel when a catalyst temperature condition satisfies. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fuel injection of a hybrid vehicle comprises an engine control unit (10), a motor control unit (30), and a hybrid control unit (50). The engine control unit comprises a unit for determining a condition for increasing the temperature of a catalyst, a counter, a comparing unit, and a catalyst temperature control unit. The unit for determining a condition for increasing the temperature of a catalyst stops an engine by verifying whether or not a condition for increasing the temperature of a first catalyst satisfies based on engine operating time. The unit for determining a condition for increasing the temperature of a catalyst determines whether or not the condition for increasing the temperature of a second catalyst satisfies based on previous engine stop time and engine operating time. The counter increases a counting value for satisfying the condition of increasing the temperature of the catalyst if the temperature increase condition of the second catalyst satisfies and if not, the counter reduces the counting value. The comparing unit compares a set value to the counting value. The catalyst temperature control unit reduces the amount of fuel injection by a corrected value without additional fuel injection to lower the temperature of the catalyst on the basis of a comparison result.
