A hard coat film being good in appearance, transparency, impact resistance, and scratch resistance or surface hardness is described. The hard coat film is formed by laminating a hard coating on at least one surface of a substrate film. The substrate film includes a polymer (C) including a first repeating unit derived from a di(meth)acrylate (A) and a second repeating unit derived from a mono(meth)acrylate (B), wherein the first repeating unit derived from the di(meth)acrylate (A) is represented by formula (1): In formula (1), X represents at least one diol residue with a number-average molecular weight of 500 or more selected from polyalkylene glycol residues, polyester diol residues and polycarbonate diol residues, and R1 represents H or CH3.
