The device i.e. transducer cell (1), has a current conducting device (4) for electrically connecting electrodes of an electrode component to each other. A cell housing includes a housing part (6) for partially enclosing the component. The housing part comprises a function device i.e. flexible circuit board, for supporting discharge of energy from the component to a load, where the function device is operatively connected with the component for receiving energy. The housing part includes a support element supporting the function device that is made of a fiber permeated polymer material (21).
