The present invention relates to compressed pharmaceutical compositions of atypical antipsychotics. Particularly the present invention relates to compressed pharmaceutical compositions of asenapine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof for sublingual, buccal or oromucosal administration. The present invention further relates to processes for preparing such compositions.
