The capacitor (100) has a case (130) that is arranged for fastening the capacitor between two coils (120), such that the longitudinal axis of extension of the case and a winding axis of the coils are aligned parallel to each other within a tolerance range. The longitudinal extension of the case is made corresponding to the longitudinal extension of the coil. The case and coil are held together immovably in a pre-defined position using bonding material. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing capacitor.
