The brace has a set of hinge units (1, 1a), and a set of hinge pin units (3, 3a) that is arranged on a side of the hinge units. A set of hinge unit sleeves (2, 2a) is located on an opposite side of the hinge units. The set of hinge pin units and the set of hinge unit sleeves are arranged parallel to one another, and are arranged at a set of sides of the hinge units. An arrangement is provided for a clamping screw (4) by the set of hinge units. The sleeves and the pin units are able to be clamped by the screw and a nut (5) or with a mating thread.
