<p>Provided is a guide wire configured so that the end thereof to which a coiled spring is mounted can be easily formed into a predetermined bent shape and so that the end can be easily formed again into another bent shape. This guide wire (10) comprises: a core wire (20) which has one end (23) reduced in diameter; a coiled spring (30) which is mounted to the outer periphery of the reduced-diameter section of the core wire (20); and a resin layer (50) which covers both the core wire (20) and the coiled spring (30). The coiled spring (30) is soldered at predetermined intervals at both ends thereof, and at multiple places of the intermediate section thereof, to the core wire (20) through soldering sections (40). The resin layer (50) is filled into the inside of the coiled spring (30).</p> |
